Last day of August

Quite a happy today. Went out and spent some time with two of my fav. people. :)
Mum dropped me at JJ and oh my dear Lord. I can't breathe. People mountain people sea. Haha. Saw a few of my schoolmates as well.
& sorry to say I really don't have the 'merdeka feel' this year. Sorry, the country that have the best place (which is my bed) on earth.
I spent my time alone, waiting for Kiew at MPH (because it has the least people), checking out books. Omg I still think it's kinda odd for me to do so because reading is just not my thing. However, I just finish reading a novel in a day (which is quite productive). Hahaha.

Due to the overpopulated situation, Kiew and I left JJ for STG for a better yumcha place. :D
Little did we know, STG was full house as well. Waited for 5 minutes for a table for three (mum, Kiew and I). "This became all the 'si lais' hangout place" Hahhaha. Cannot agree more.
I realize we are so asian because all of us takes pictures of the food. #asiansatwork
Hmm I will not post pictures here because I've already posted them on my Insta/Facebook. Feel free to check them out. :)

Instead, I'd like to give a little review about the book Intan lent me, and which I find amazing.

Tumblr people loves this a lot. You will notice about quotes from the book and all sorts.
It's rather unbelievable that this book made me giggle, because the sarcasm they have is LVL9999. Made me envy, because it's a wonderful love story. Made my heart ache (I shall not tell you why because I'd recommend you to read and explore yourself). This book really got me in it and I was traveling along with the characters in the book. :)
I can't deny that it's good to feel that way as I haven't been reading since 2/3 years ago? Haha. The last novel I read (and is still in my memory) was Twilight? HAHAHAHA. So yeah. :P

Currently, I'm reading this (which I borrowed from Kiew yesterday) :
I think I'm picking up reading as a hobby? Omg said me. We'll see. ;)

BTW, JOHN GREEN IS A GENIUS. <3 <3 <3

*

Dear you who's reading this.
I hope you made the best decision for yourself. I support whatever your choice is. All I hope is for you to get happier. I seriously hope both of you can still be friends even after all these. Take your time to heal. Don't worry, I'll be there for you when you need me. *hugsssss* <3

Plan Bee

THIS POST WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PUBLISHED DAYS AGO. IDK WHAT HAPPENED MY PHONE APP DID NOT MANAGE TO PUBLISH THIS. SORRYYYYYY :(

*

Mum picked me up from school and we headed to Plan B for lunch! It was mum's first time there and I guess it made a good impression on her? Except for the overpriced food, said mum.
I wouldn't even eat in school if I knew mum is bringing me for this. :(

Carbonara.
For the first time, I think it has too much cheese. Haha.

Mocha!
Was dying for coffee and this fixed my craving. :3

Flourless Chocolate Cake.
Nomnomnom this is so good. It's so moist and warm on the inside. But one thing, the choc powder on top got all over my shirt ahhaha. Therefore, beware when you're eating this. (not so much if you're not as lousy as me :p)

& then.
I was quite happy cause I met Shammi, LiXin and YiQi there! Felt really appreciated when they actually bother to make conversations with me even though they left school for quite sometime now. :) sat down with them and talked about school, life in college and what's not. It was during CNY when I last saw them. Wow time flies. Makes me realize how limited time is. In a blink of an eye, everything changes. Phew, slow down, time!

Blah

It has been a week since I last blogged. Sorry, fellow blog readers. It has been a busy week and I can't think of anything interesting to be blogged about. This is some random thought of mine. Just expressing.

Why do people change when they get into a relationship?
"Being in a relationship is having more things in life, not removing things from life", my best friend told me. And I can't agree more. I personally think it's plain stupid to dump your friends away when you're in a relationship. Because at the end of the day if you happen to face any problems, who are you going to seek help from? Friends.
It hurts when people I cherish and love change into a different person when they found their partner.  After all, what can I do? Nothing much. Sometimes I choose not to care because it doesn't hurt that much. But no matter how much I deny, this part of me will always care.
People who doesn't realize what they do with their words and actions always end up hurting other people. It might not be with intentions but it still hurts. It's not that I think too much. It's that I'm aware of other's actions so that I don't blindly do things (like not letting the conversation die when the other party obviously don't even wanna talk to you).

At the end of the day, I realize that I can please no one. I will only be myself and those who don't like me will leave. Others might stay? None of the situations are in my control.

p/s : sorry if I appear rude sometimes. caught up in the situation.

Makan journal @ Singapore? Seems like it

Finally back from Singapore after 3 days 2 nights.

It was a new experience with new people. :) First time travelling with only a friend, first time travelling with Joei. New memories made. Departed at 10pm and reached SG at 6.40am. Both of us stayed at my dad's place in Holland Village. I quite like the facilities available in that area. From banks to MRT station to markets to grocery stores to food court to cafes to bars to many more. All within your walking distance. After a few hours of sleep, dad brought us out to makan @ Poulet, Vivocity. *thumbs up*

Mushroom soup.
So creamy and thick it fills you up before the main course. But it tastes really good.

Lamb shank. (Y)

Tiramisu.
Big portion, enough for 3 person (after meal).

We went shopping for two days, all by ourselves. Thank goodness I did not spend a lot (I guess). Haha. Met up with Jroe Phin in Bugis and spent a few hours together. She's there for a month now and she already knew the place so well. *salute* She brought us to Strictly Pancakes for pancakes (duh). The food was good. It was served with big portion and reasonable price. Service a little bad though.

Potatoes Leeking Cheese.

Snuggle Up.

Strawberries & Co.

Picture of us three. :)

The last day of our holiday at Singapore was rather relaxed and carefree. We woke up early in the morning and headed to Peninsula Plaza at Cityhall to get some camera accessories. That place was pretty much like Yik Foong but much deserted. Maybe it was due to the late business hours. Singaporeans mahhh. 12.45pm only open. ._.
MRT all the way to my uncle's place at Tampines after that. Miss having the coffee from food courts in SG which costs $1, with rich aroma and thickness. Too bad, I was quite disappointed with the one I had in the Tampines food court. Cost $1.10 and tastes mehhh. :/
Met my cousins and oh dear. They are so cute lahhh. I want to get some of their cuteness as well. :3 We then meet up with my dad and aunt and headed to East Coast. The boys were having their time playing with sand while I was risking my life, playing roller skates. Fuh. Hard and scary time I had.

Dylan and Dalvin. Cutie pies. :3

Dad, me and aunt.

Handsome uncle, awesome dad, cool aunts. <3

Joeiiiii << the kangaroo baby.
That's what I called her since I were lil' kids. Haha.

Went home, packed up, and left Singapore at night.
I'll have to wait for end Nov/Dec or next year to visit SG again. Cool place it is.
A vacation wouldn't be complete without pictures of sceneries. So, brace yourselves. :)

Reminds me of Koh Lipe. :(

What Singapore is filled with.

So hard to get myself back to reality after Thailand and SG. But what can I do? I still have to. It's gonna be a hard Monday tomorrow. :/
Ah. Me being a pessimist at times is suffering. Disappointed in people whom I put up hopes on. Thinking about it, who am I to expect things from them? Well, if it's meant to be, it will be.

Goodbye for now. I have been writing two posts at a time for quite some time. Lol. Sorry for the inefficiency. Luck for you and me for school tomorrow and the days after. :) xx

140813

#throwback.

Sim and ChuiLeng came over to my house as they waited for my aunt to fetch us to Kiew's place to bake cake. Joei came along as well. :) We reached her place at around 2, Fiuan, Ching and Mun who were there earlier started mixing colours in the batter already. :(
I was really happy seeing the colours of rainbow though. Spent the whole afternoon baking and hanging around with them. :3 <3 <3

Reminds me of water marble nails.

Who doesn't love rainbows? :) <3

After hours, everyone got ready for the thing at night. So good to see everyone looking good. I must say I have some really good looking friends. ;)
It was darn shocking when Amir said he couldn't make it. So much tears and worries in the air wehy. But I think his friends are really cool actors. I'm one good actress as well. LOLOLOL. *clap clap* Well, all for Joann though. :)

Happy Belated Birthday, Amir Farhan.
Happy Advanced Birthday, Hoo Jo Ann.
Hope you guys enjoyed yourself with all the stuffs your guests came up with. And the presents as well. ;)

With couples of the night. <3

Some of the polaroid taken that night.
P/S : Take note of the picture on the top right. Look who is that. Are you shocked? Because I am. Still is. :P

*

Didn't expect someone to turn up that night though. The anxiety is just in the body, knowing someone whom I haven't talk to in months, who was once so important/is important? to me appearing all of a sudden. I can't say that things were still the same because it somehow just changed. Despite of the hard feelings, I learned that things will never be the same in time. All you have today, at this moment, you might just loose it the next second. It's not in your control.
And when you go through the valley
And the shadow comes down from the hill
If morning never comes to be
Be still
Be Still - The Fray. Somehow suits my emotions.

Tada!

Ahh. Sorry for not blogging for days. I'm currently at Singapore with Joei, my childhood friend for another vacation. Haha. This is gonna be a brief post regarding the post that I was supposed to update about on my previous one.

Guess what is it. ;) ;) ;)

I made Dash buy a box of condom. :'D
The reason was, when you see a guy buying condom, you might have assumptions like 'oh he's a responsible boyfriend.' But when you see a girl buying condom, you will have assumptions like 'yerrrrrr slut.'
So yeah. And he agreed on my reason. ;) Just that he said that I owe him for life (which is not valid) :p

Might look a bit blurry cause his hands were shaking. Lmao.

Some of you may follow me on twitter and saw one of my tweet about condom. I said it was for some experiment but it's actually a prank for Joann's Sweet Sixteen. Lol. :p Sorry I had to come up with something or else she'll know the prank. Haha.

Anyway, it was seriously darn funny when I made Dash buy this shit. He even called up his friend to ask how he (the friend) bought it for scouts camp.
Dash : Hello..? Eh. I wanna ask you right.. Er.. How you buy condom for scouts camp ah? *sounding really shy*
It was like as if he is buying it for his own needs. Hahahahah.

And the funniest part was, he handed the condom for payment to this guy who isn't the cashier. Of course, that guy gave a smirk. Lololol. The next thing we knew when we went to the real counter to pay, that guy gave Dash a free sample of a condom. So epic I laughed like nobody's business. (The cashier as well as the guy might probably think that we were the one who need the condom -.- but who cares. Ain't nobody got time for that.)

After all, it was a hilarious moment. And I guess Joann was pretty shocked by the prank. Ahhaha.

P/s : Everything we did is for fun sake. No other intentions.  (In case you thought of any)

Yue is awesomer than Yew

It's been awhile since I laughed that much. :D
Went out with the famous Yew Da Sheng (ok maybe the girls will start hating me cause I went out with him. come at me babehhh. haha) to get some stuffs.
Walked around Aeon for about 2 hours and we got everything we want. Woohoo, speed shopping!

I made him get stuffs that I was supposed to. I felt so bad laughing at him while his hands were shaking. Hahahhaha. Laughing still. (I'll blog about what is it tomorrow ;))

Lunch at Nando's and chit chat about whats not.

Third attempt for a picture cause his eyes were too small, as if he blinked. :P

First picture with the junior who doesn't look like one. So old looking. Muahaha.

I don't remember how we started talking but I only remember we knew each other through a home tuition. Quite guy he was. Haha. Well, still a little shy cause he kept saying "I don't know". Had a great time with him though. He doesn't look like his age. So old and quite mature compared to other f3 dudes. Lol. He kept wanting to be as awesome as me but cannot. :/ Hmm Dash, work hard okay? I'll give you some motivation to become an awesome person. :D

Short post, to be continued.

Blessed

I don't think this is too late to say,
SELAMAT HARI RAYA, my fellow Malay buddies! :D

*

There are quite a lot of things to be happy about today.
Firstly, there's actually people viewing my blog! More than pleased to know that my pageviews are increasing. Thank you for those who actually reads my blog. You're my motivation to keep blogging. Hahhaha. This sounds like as if I'm receiving a Grammy.

I finally get to meet some of my friends after a week. Mun picked me up this afternoon to get a fruit basket for Intan at Ipoh Garden South. Then we headed to Scotch Restaurant for brunch and later to Secret Recipe for a slice of cake (Mun forced me to eat most of it but I did not as it will take up room for rendang chicken later! :P) Tapao-ed brownies for our beloved Kiew then proceeded to Intan's place. We spent time chilling and letting the stomach do its job before taking in more foooooood. :P Oh and then, Intan and I went out to lead Kyshilla to her house, on her bike, without helmet, and her license. Felt so young, wild a free. ;D

Pictures of the day :
P/S : Girls are going to be girls.

I don't know why but I like this shot a lot. :3

Why is HoayYing the only being so normal. Pfft.

Tengok host tu. Banyak pattern.

Beeeeffeff. <3

And group picture. :) *credits to Kiew for the picture*

I went home after tuition and dinner at my grandparents' place (together with some driving lessons ;)) and.. guess what I saw on my table! *drumrolls*

A POSTCARD FROM CHOR YEN YEEN ALL THE WAY FROM AUSSIE!! :D
I was so happy and I smiled all the way reading it. Hehe.
Thank you so much, Chor. I really appreciate it. So sweet of you to send postcards that you bought during your trip to Europe. :3 It made my day! <3

Her neat handwriting surprised me and it took so long for the postcard to arrive! Lol.

Mum found a video online and we started watching it together. I guess you should take a look at it as well. It left me an impact and made me realize things that I've been taking for granted. So thankful that there are producers making such meaningful videos to open up our hearts. Well, it's just a video after all. It wouldn't hurt watching. Do check it out here. :)

That's all for now.
I'm feeling really good and I feel like praying (wow). So yeah. Lol.

Thank you God for this wonderful day spent with lovely people in my life.
Thank you for keeping me save and sound, and for the good good food I had throughout the day.
I pray for your endless guidance towards my family, friends and I.
Amen. :)

#1

Greetings, everyone! It's been years since I've last blogged.
The purpose of this blog is to share about my trip to Thailand as I really enjoyed myself there. At the same time, I'll try to take up blogging as my hobby again and try to update my blog as often as possible. :)

Well, I just came back to Ipoh last night and I'm still mentally stuck in Thailand! Oh dear Lord. I miss everything back there. :(

Our whole journey was by bus so I'm sure everyone's back and butt ached by the time we reach Thailand. Lol. We departed from Ipoh at 12am and reached Thailand at about 8am? Wasn't quite sure as I was not the time keeper. :P
Our first meal was at Larn Kao Restaurant for breakfast. The arrangements of the tables were a little packed but the food served was in great variety and pretty scrumptious well. It left me a quite good first impression of Thailand. However, you have to be capable of handling spicy food or you'll have nothing much to eat. :)

Mum and I with a few dishes they serve.

Together with the Law family. :)

It was my first time to Thailand and it wasn't that exciting until I reach the jetty to Koh Lipe, located in the Satun Province of Southwest Thailand.
We took a ferry and the journey lasted for an hour and thirty minutes. People vomited along the way as they get sea sick. Well, thank goodness I wasn't one of them. Yes, I'm feeling very proud. (Y)
We traveled through lorries to get to our chalets, Z-Touch Resort which somehow reminds me of camp. Heh.
Our chalets were good. The scenery of the beach was even better. I'll just let the pictures do the talking. :)

Panorama view from the resort.

Me with the colourful chairs? Haha

This lady is awesome. I still wonder how is she capable of carrying heavy bags like that. *salute*

Mum and I share the same chalet with the Law family. After changing to our swimming attire and applying sunscreen, all of us headed to the swimming pool! Well it might sound boring but we had a lot of fun. Isn't that the most important thing? :) It was nice swimming in the pool without any strangers.

View of the swimming pool and the sea. My idea of paradise.

Next was the beach! In the sea!
The water is so clear you can see your toes down there. I don't lie. :)

Sorry my legs might not be so slim and attractive compared to other hot chicks.
But I can tell you that my legs enjoyed themselves stepping on the finest sand ever. ;)

Dinner was served later on. Tom Yum soup was available, nearly every single meal of the day. Heh.
We then headed to the Walking Street of Lipe. There were mini marts, bars ;), restaurants, souvenir shops, pancake houses and even hotels along the street. Quite amazed by some of the things they have. :)
Ended the night with some Heineken together with mum and her friends. She has some amazing friends who know how to enjoy life, I must say. Lol.

Pictures of the night :

The following day was a lot more exciting as we visited a few islands, Koh Jabang, Koh Rawi and Koh Hin Ngam which is situated around Koh Lipe.
We took taxi boats and the journey lasted for around 30 minutes to reach our first destination. The sea was pretty rough as it was about to rain. New experience though. ;)

One of the island was Koh Hin Ngam. It's famous for their stones and the curse of it. So yeah, non of all these stones are to be taken away if not, something bad might happen to you. Heh, a lil' creepy for me.

The rest of the day was spend at 3 different islands.
There was a snorkeling session and it was amazing! Swimming in the ocean in deep waters while looking at the corals beneath me. Fishes swimming everywhere together with thorny and disgusting looking stuffs in the sea. Disgusting but something new. :D The best thing was, I listened to no sound pollution but only the sound of my breath. It was my first time snorkeling and it felt so awesome no words can describe that feeling. How beautiful and majestic our mother nature is. Life oh life.

Dinner was served at one of the restaurants in the Walking Street of Lipe. Food was okay but the crabs weren't that fresh, said my mum. Later, we walked along the street for digestion before heading towards the next round. ;) Guess what I saw. There was a Pooh Bar! At the same time, I was wearing a pooh shirt. Sweet coincident it was! The name of it was cute enough. Hehe. It wasn't only a bar, but a restaurant and bungalows for visitors as well. Not much pictures taken as we were only sight-seeing from the outside.

We then headed to a bar/handicraft shop by Gee and Kim. The place was very well decorated with the theme of 'Gypsy Life'. It's mainly visited by foreigners as the owners speak multiple languages. Good service! :)
I'd say it's one of the best moments throughout the trip. Tried on 5 different types of cocktails that night and for the first time, I was a little tipsy. Good drinker eh? Haha.

Sex on the beach; mint margarita; pink lady; tequila sunrise; long island ice tea.

Took a walk for about 5 minutes along the beach to get back to our resort. The night sky was filled with stars and it was indeed a romantic scene. We then decided to drink for the second round (heh) and I continued with a few bottles of alcoholic beverages that we bought from one of the marts earlier. We were lying on the beach, watching the night sky while listening to the sound of the waves. Never felt so relaxed for such a long time. Ah, pure enjoyment.

(Don't worry, I was sober and I managed to make my way back to the chalet without any sign of getting drunk except red cheeks. And I woke up the next morning without hangover. :P)

*

My first time to Thailand was indeed a blast and for the first time, I wasn't homesick. Not even a bit. Lol. I really miss those mornings where I wake up without worries at somewhere far away from home, enjoying the breeze in the air, sound of the waves, the clear blue sea together with the softest sand ever. Then being able to travel around the islands, having sea water as well as rain water splashing on my face, enjoying the wind like I'm the queen of the ocean. How often do I have the chance to enjoy these little things in life? This trip to Koh Lipe was indeed amazing and it surely left me a whole bunch of sweet memories to be remembered.
